About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Ashford and St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality cleaning and food services to our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate a team of housekeeping staff to provide a quality service.
  • Inspect, record, and monitor cleaning standards, taking action to ensure compliance with Health and Safety and Food Handling and Hygiene Regulations.
  • Develop and maintain clear lines of communication with team members, colleagues, and patients to ensure a positive and respectful working environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a clean and hygienic environment is maintained at all times.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Experience of supervising a cleaning/domestic staff in a hospital environment.
  • Ability to work flexibly and take personal responsibility for delivering high-quality services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
