SCR (Smart Connect Research) specializes in accessing hard to reach audiences for market research, industry insights, and expert/industry reports. The agency works with B2B, healthcare, and experts/niche audiences, serving clients from global locations. SCR's mission is to deliver high service levels and expertise within the industry.


Role Description

As a Sales Development and Support Executive you will play a pivotal role in SCR’s continued growth as you will support the generation of new business for SCR. You will be responsible for nurturing and qualifying new and existing leads, to be handed over to the SCR Sales and Account Management teams for further progression.


Key Responsibilities:


Client Outreach:

  • Actively call potential clients to support the Sales & Marketing team’s objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing team to target specific campaigns aligned with company data, including potential customers and revisiting past opportunities.


Lead Generation:

  • Professionally represent the company to generate appointments for the Sales Team with potential clients.
  • Arrange and schedule meetings or calls as needed to advance sales opportunities.
  • Achieve call generation, outreach and conversion targets set by the Sales Director.


Data Management:

  • Keeping the CRM updated and accurate by;
  • Maintaining and updating records related to potential clients, ensuring a comprehensive log of all daily activities.
  • Diligently documenting all communications and follow-ups with potential customers.


Inbound Communications:

  • Handle incoming calls and emails for the Sales and Marketing team, ensuring accurate records of client inquiries and needs are maintained.
  • Address prospect customers’ questions using the provided resources, escalating queries to the New Business Manager when necessary.


Cross-Departmental Support:

  • Assist other departments with campaigns and external communication initiatives, as directed.


Professional Conduct:

  • Communicate respectfully and politely with potential clients, adhering to company standards.
  • Promptly escalate any concerns or unresolved queries.
  • Undertake additional duties as required to meet business needs.


The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Proficient computer skills with confident knowledge in Microsoft office, Microsoft teams
  • Excellent customer focused communication skills, able to work effectively within and across teams.
  • Excellent organisation skills, handling multiple varied tasks with an attention to detail, driven to deliver.


Qualifications

  • Sales Strategy Development, Lead Generation, and Customer Support skills
  • Experience in maintaining customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Knowledge of market research and industry insights is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
