Business Development Executive (Cyber Security consultancy)

Location: 3 days in London office with regular UK travel to clients locations

Salary up to £70 000+ uncapped commission (you will be working towards multi-million pounds deals)

Ideally you will hold SC or DV clearance during the time of your application


We have 2 roles available, one focussing on the MOD clients and other on Central Government clients.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As Business Development Executive, you'll be working to improve and grow core business, by fostering and developing relationships with new customers. You will work for the Head of Sales to improve profitability through executing strategic planning and positioning in the appropriate markets, and to enhance the operation of the business, position, or reputation.


-identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, potential customers, products and services

-identify appropriate routes to market – event planning, lead generation activities, etc.

-assist the Head of Sales to create, inform and continually develop the new business strategy, processes and structure

-Seek out the appropriate contacts in an organisation & generate leads and cold call prospective customers or meet with customers face to face

-Be a brand ambassador, draft client proposals, presentations and discussion documents


WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESFUL?

-Around five years professional experience gained within the Cyber Security sector

-Knowledge of Crown Commercial Service - CCS frameworks relevant to Cyber Consultancy

-Have a hunter mentality

-Proven experience in building pipeline within the sector is essential

-Experience of working within a sales environment with consultancy provisions into the defence and or public sector and experience of bid creations for government frameworks

-Strong understanding of Cyber Security principles and fundamentals


NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT ESSETIAL

-Active SC/DV Security Clearance

-Military or defence background could be advantageous
