Business Development Manager - Bristol - Spirit Business
Join one of the most exciting spirits companies in the world Our client is one of the UK’s leading spirit distributors and brand builders, representing an award-winning range of spirits and third-party agency spirit brands. The Opportunity:
We are looking for a passionate and driven Business Development Manager to cover the Bristol area. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make your mark in a fast-paced environment and join a rapidly growing drinks company. If you have a solid understanding of the UK spirits market and a background in FMCG or alcoholic beverages, with experience in sales or marketing, this could be the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive growth and expand our client’s market presence in the Bristol area.
- Target specific high opportunity accounts and groups within the On-Trade sector.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, including new accounts and partnerships.
- Build and grow relationships to increase meaningful distribution, menu share, and house pour agreements.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, delivering exceptional customer service and support.
- Promote and represent our client’s award-winning portfolio of spirits and third-party agency brands.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful execution of brand initiatives and promotional activities.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and client feedback.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the FMCG or alcoholic beverages industry.
- Strong understanding of the UK spirits market and local business landscape in Bristol.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for the spirits industry and a keen interest in market dynamics.
- Willingness to travel within the Bristol area as required.
