Insurwave is a disruptive fintech company leveraging the power of AI to consolidate and visualise data, helping clients to understand risk and make more informed underwriting, risk transfer and insurance decisions.

Insurwave’s SaaS platform offers an integrated insurance management experience, from ai-driven data ingestion, to data enrichment and cleansing, through to complex applications like algorithmic underwriting, submission management, and exposure monitoring.


About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced, and ambitious salesperson with the grit, determination, communication and organisation skills to help Insurwave win in the market. You have experience of B2B sales, ideally within SaaS and specialty insurance. You are an outstanding communicator, highly organised, ambitious about your career development, and focused on winning.

You will report to the Chief Commercial Officer and be responsible for taking qualified leads to the end of the sales process, both for new business and inside sales. You know how to develop and work with relationships to originate, develop and close opportunities. You want to play a critical role driving >2x growth a year.


Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering ARR growth against individual targets
  • Deal execution, across the lifecycle, from origination through to closing. New business and inside sales.
  • Deal phase progression, driving the varied elements involved in effective and positive deal momentum, e.g. understanding client needs, qualification, meetings, actions, follow ups, emails, stakeholder mapping and engagement, deal shaping, proposal development, approvals governance, negotiation etc.
  • Collaborating closely with the Insurwave product, client success, relationship owners and SMEs to bring the best of our business and value to a client and prospect.
  • Deal origination, spotting opportunities with new prospects, and on existing relationships.
  • Structured, insightful and disciplined recording of sales activity in the CRM.
  • Participating in sales and client growth meetings, contributing to tracking progress, and strategic conversations on strategic direction and execution performance
  • Proactive sharing of market feedback with Insurewavers, so everyone can benefit from market insight, anecdotes, feedback and opportunities
  • Origination of inside sales opportunities and new business opportunities.
