Job Description:

As the Senior Operations Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to lead your own production site, managing a team of over 60 people with 5 direct reports. You will oversee the production of up to 25 machines per week, making a substantial impact on our business and its growth. This position offers significant career progression, with potential to expand your role to managing additional sites as our company continues to grow.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the production site, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead the setup, staffing, and operational launch of the new factory and office.
  • Develop and implement strategic operational plans that align with company goals and drive productivity.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, supply chain, quality assurance, and R&D, to optimize performance.
  • Monitor and analyze operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure production targets are met.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing team, promoting professional growth and succession planning.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years experience as an Operations manager in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the material processing machinery sector.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience managing a team of 60+ people.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in operations management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
