Your new company is a successful family-run business in County Cavan that produces high-quality food products for some of the UK and Ireland's leading coffee chains and other partners. With over 200 staff at their site in Cootehill, they are looking for an experienced FMCG Operations Manager to join their team to help lead from the front.
Your new role
As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the daily management and control of factory operations including planning, production, quality, yields and wastage. You will be responsible for managing the operations team, coordinating production schedules, managing inventory levels, and optimising resource allocation to meet customer demands while minimising costs and waste. Your meticulous planning and organisational skills will contribute to the smooth flow of operations and the delivery of high-quality products to our customers.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate should have proven experience in food manufacturing operations, ideally in a batch production environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role. You should have strong knowledge of food safety regulations, quality management systems, and production processes. You should have excellent organisational, planning & analytical skills, and have demonstrated experience of problem-solving and process improvement. You should be detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and precision, with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
