Site Supervisor (Fit out) required for a leading Northern Irish contractor

Your new company
Hays Construction are currently representing a renowned contractor within the construction industry, specifically across Northern Irish build & Fit-out, due to sustained bid success. They are now seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join their highly successful team. With an enviable client base throughout the UK & Ireland, this firm is currently operating across various sectors including commercial, residential, education, retail & fit out and are hoping to further establish their brand throughout the UK & Ireland. This growth has been generated from their proven track record in delivering high-quality service on £multi-million projects for global clients, but also due to their commitment to high quality finished work. This contractor now has a specific requirement for a Fit-Out Supervisor to lead the site team on the high-end fit out of a luxury hotel.

Your new role
As Site supervisor you will have proven experience at a similar level in construction, preferably with a background in joinery with the ability to complete closing out snagging. You will be a key part of the construction team and help organise the Sub-Contractors during the construction stage of each £multi-million project. You will be responsible for managing the progress of the project while reporting the progress to the senior management team, while also being expected to get hands on when required. You will also manage and work with subcontractors to complete the work within a time frame and to the highest standard. The initial project will be on a high-end hotel and will require you to travel. This project will commence in December of this year.
What you'll need to succeed
A successful Site Supervisor will ideally come from a strong construction background and have previous experience being involved on large-scale, major projects, preferably within the residential, commercial & educational sectors. Strong communication & interpersonal skills are essential to motivating and working with the site team for the successful delivery of £multi-million projects on time, to budget and to client standards. As Site Supervisor, you will be expected to supervise the progress of the project while managing and working with subcontractors and senior management to give updates of progress throughout the project from inception to completion. It will be essential to hold relevant tickets such as CSR card, SSSTS card and SMSTS card. This role will require the successful applicant to travel.

What you'll get in return
This is an opportunity to join one of the most prominent Northern Irish Construction Contractors and build up a diverse, extensive & impressive portfolio of work whilst gaining invaluable experience in a senior site position. The role promises to offer a fresh challenge and for the right individual, could be an excellent next career step. You will join a contractor that is committed to your individual career progression & allow you to maximise your individual potential, proven through their extremely high retention of staff. In return, the company offers a highly attractive remuneration package commensurate with experience that includes a top-tier salary that comes with generous holiday entitlement and all travel expenses covered.
