Our client is a leading Construction & Fit Out specialist based in Belfast, who are a household name in the Northern Irish Construction industry. This firm are long-established locally, building an impressive portfolio of works over a rich operational history. This company are renowned for delivering key works on some of Belfast’s most iconic buildings and have now expanded their operation across the UK & Ireland. The firm boasts an impressive client base, working with some of the UK & Ireland’s biggest names in Retail, Commercial, Hospitality & Leisure sectors. They are passionate about delivering a collaborative approach in order to ensure excellence and secure long-term relationships.
Your new role
With a busy order book secured for the remainder of 2024 and into 2025, this firm are currently searching for an experienced Site Manager to join their Fit Out Division. This company have a range of upcoming work, including Retail, Education and Leisure schemes. As Site Manager, you will be required to oversee projects from mobilisation through to handover, supervising subcontractors and direct labour in order to meet the programme of works. You will be responsible for carrying out audits, inspections and quality control along with undertaking any site inductions as required. You will liaise with Project/Contracts Managers, communicating regular progress reports and ensuring the project is kept on track.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to fulfil the role to its full requirements, you must have proven experience working as a Site Manager on fast-paced Fit Out projects, particularly within Retail & Commercial sectors. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills are a must, with the ability to motivate the site team to meet project completion within time and budget. You will be Health & Safety focused with a first-class planning and organisational skills. A strong level of communication is required in order to deliver concise progress reports to the senior operational team and clients. With upcoming work across the UK & Ireland, you must have a flexible attitude to travel.
