Business Development Executive

We are seeking applicants who are highly motivated to join our sales team. This person will be brought in to primarily go out and find new customers and leads for our business in the North of England. You will enjoy identifying new opportunities to increase our brand presence and optimise sales. Where required you will also assist with existing customer enquiries and company sales.
Rosehill has a diverse customer base, including education, community, healthcare, office and commercial, hospitality and ecclesiastical organisations. The person applying for this role should be comfortable with dealing with customers with different furniture needs. Experience in the furniture industry is ideal, but not essential if they are quick to pick up and learn.
The role includes planning and carrying out customer visits to a regular agreed schedule to ensure coverage of the North of England in the UK. They will adhere to company policy and procedures in all aspects of sales and marketing activities, including all areas of customer service relationships including sales, promotions, assistance with after sales service.
The candidate applying should be skilled at negotiation and have experience in sales and generating new business. Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage your time effectively is important. They should be competent in the use of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel and Word. Ideally, they would have experience using Sage 50, but training will be provided. This is used to prepare quotations, sales orders and purchase orders. They should have a professional manner on the phone and in drafting letters and written correspondence to customers and/or company partners.
This position is hybrid with travel required. Hours: 38 hours per week. Salary: £35,000 with OTE £10,000+ in commission and a car/travel allowance.
