Permanent HR Officer / HR Advisor, High Wycombe -Hybrid


An exciting permanent HR Officer / HR Advisor role within a successful not-for-profit organisation dedicated to making a positive impact in our community. My client is looking for a passionate HR Officer / HR Advisor who is keen to make a difference, enjoys being pro-active and thrives from a true generalist HR role where there input and contribution is recognised within a small but busy HR team.

HR Responsibilities:

You will have one direct report into you, an HR Administrator.

  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.
  • Active involvement in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting job advertisements, and managing the hiring process.
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of effective onboarding plans, including induction.
  • Ensure all agreed training is provided and implemented throughout the year.
  • Assist line managers in the performance management process.
  • Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
  • Oversee payroll and pensions on a monthly basis.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
  • Support with HR projects.
  • Support with restructuring.

About You:

You must have experience as an HR Officer / HR Advisor, who has managed low level ER cases.

You will ideally have experience managing the end-end recruitment and selection process.

You will ideally be qualified to at least level 3 of the CIPD or equivalent.

Knowledge of payroll would be advantageous.
