Technical Sales Engineer

£40,000 + Commission + Company Car

UK Wide, Hybrid

Major Recruitment have partnered with a well established, leading company within Metrology and Measurement solutions. They are currently looking to expand their sales force in order to further develop their client base in the UK.


This role can be based anywhere in the UK, my client looks to assign regions to each Sales Engineer in order to maximize efficiency, you will be working with the company to further sell products with existing clients as well as building relationships with new business clients.


A sales background is not essential, but you will be required to have existing working knowledge with Faro Arms, Laser Trackers and CMM programming software (mainly Polyworks or similar)


The Role:

  • Presenting demo's to end customers
  • Setting up meetings with potential clients
  • Using your technical skills to sell each product on their specialties
  • Attend trade shows to further generate leads
  • Gaining market intelligence in order to determine which clients would benefit from the products on offer
  • Understanding a clients needs and promoting applicable products
  • Building client relationships


Requirements:

  • Working experience with Faro arms, PMT arms etc.
  • Working experience with Laser Trackers, peel scanners
  • CMM programming experience (Polyworks, PCDMIS, MCSOMOS, Camio etc.)
  • A good understanding of the market in regards to metrology, precision engineering, aerospace, automotive etc.
  • Full UK driving license is essential for this role
  • Ability to work on your own
  • Ability to plan your weeks and organise your own diary
