Business Development Representative

Casla is a marketing agency based in Sheffield city centre. We are a small business with 3 of us working in the team at the moment.
Casla specialises in helping businesses market and sell their products and services to other businesses (what's known as "B2B marketing").
The main thing we help our clients with is setting up meetings where they can introduce their products and services to potential business customers. In order to do this, we conduct outreach via the phone, email, LinkedIn and the post to relevant companies to see if they'd be interested in meeting with our clients.
We are looking for some extra help, particularly with the outreach, so for example, making phone calls to companies on behalf of our clients. As a small business, there is also a lot of opportunity to get involved with other areas of what we do (like content, social media and digital marketing).
The role would be paid £15 per hour. Initially, the length of the contract would be one or two months, with the potential to extend. In terms of the number of hours per week, we were thinking in the region of 15 hours, but we're open to flexibility on this so it could be significantly less or more depending on what works for the successful applicant.
Who we're looking for:
There is no requirement for any prior experience for this role. We're looking for someone who has very high standards for the work they do, and really cares about quality. We're also looking for someone who is willing and able to pick up the phone and call companies out of the blue, which isn't for everyone.
We're looking for someone who is ambitious and wants to learn and develop their knowledge and skills.
This role is probably particularly well-suited to someone in the early stages of their career, a recent graduate or someone who is still at university but looking for a part-time position.
Working in a very small business that is just starting out comes with a particular set of opportunities and challenges. It usually means getting involved in a fairly wide range of different tasks, being adaptable, and is often better suited to generalists rather than specialists.
