Background

Digital Modus is a strategic supplier of Professional Services in the Salesforce ecosystem. We combine and deliver technology services on behalf of a wide client portfolio. Our clients are primarily public sector and not-for-profit; however, we occasionally work with commercial organisations in highly regulated industries.


Role Focus

The Business Development Manager will be critical in expanding Digital Modus' client base within the public sector (specifically Local Authority customers). This position is essential for achieving our overall company growth objectives.


Role Overview:


Responsibilities:


  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within our customers and target customers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals - including tender responses and SOW development.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions to client needs.
  • Track and report on sales performance and market trends.
  • Participate in industry events and networking opportunities to promote Digital Modus.
  • Ensure compliance with public sector procurement processes and regulations.

Skills and Qualifications:


Essential:


  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the professional services industry.
  • Experience in selling SaaS-specific professional services (e.g. Salesforce, ServiceNow, Google, AWS).
  • Strong understanding of public sector procurement processes and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Google and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.


Desirable:


  • Experience in the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with technology services and solutions.
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
