Job Description:


The Production Management Coordinator will play a crucial role in coordinating and facilitating the onboarding process for production companies and freelance producers into the client's ecosystem. This role involves managing initial and ongoing production meetings, serving as a key production contact, and ensuring the smooth execution of production schedules and processes with a focus on the MENA region. The ideal candidate will possess at least intermediate Arabic language skills, excellent organisational skills, strong communication abilities, and a deep understanding of production workflows.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Onboarding Coordination:
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for production companies and freelance producers to the client's ecosystem, tools, and resources.
  • Meeting Coordination:
  • Set up, schedule, and coordinate initial kickoff and ongoing production meetings for partner-managed productions.
  • Production Contact:
  • Serve as a key production contact for the Production Office through pre-production, production, and wrap for Production Management.
  • Schedule Management:
  • Track and manage writing/development and production schedules along with the overall local content slate, keeping stakeholders apprised of status.
  • Research and Relationship Development:
  • Research, curate, and develop relationships with crew and vendors.
  • Assist with the identification and curation of experienced, high-quality production staff and crew.
  • Research and outreach to potential filming locations and studios across the continent.
  • System Maintenance and Training:
  • Maintain, update, and champion the use of our internal systems to track and manage show asset and paperwork delivery to client.
  • Update production management “best practices” and refine production guidelines, working with technical teams to train others on client's tools and workflow.
  • Budget Assistance:
  • Work with managers on budget reviews and analysis.
  • Communication Facilitation:
  • Serve as the bridge between productions and internal client's teams to ensure both sides receive pertinent updates in a timely manner.
  • Travel Coordination:
  • Assist productions and executives in planning and coordinating travel.
  • Additional Support:
  • Perform any other duties as necessary to support the productions and the department.



Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in production coordination or a related role within the entertainment industry.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with production management tools and systems.
  • Familiarity with the production process from pre-production through post-production.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with industry professionals.
  • Experience with budget management and analysis is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
