This is an unparalleled opportunity to lead, inspire, and expand a powerhouse sales team across EMEA, focusing on capturing direct, net new enterprise customers, whilst also expanding in some top tier accounts. In this role, you will not only manage and scale a high-performing team of around 6-10 sales professionals but also play a pivotal role in driving our client's ambitious goal of quadrupling Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR). You'll be at the forefront of both organic and inorganic growth strategies, focusing on direct sales while leveraging channel and partner relationships to accelerate growth.
**What You’ll Do:**
- **Strategic Leadership:** Be a trusted advisor to the CEO and senior leadership team, influencing the overall sales strategy and ensuring no detail is overlooked.
- **Sales Strategy:** Design and implement a cutting-edge sales strategy that aligns with our client’s bold business objectives and taps into new market opportunities. Sales Methodology is vital.
- **Team Building:** Lead, mentor, and scale a top-tier sales team, driving performance and ensuring everyone is aligned with the company’s growth ambitions.
- **Partnerships & Alliances:** Identify, recruit, and manage strategic partnerships with key industry players, including system integrators, technology partners, and value-added resellers.
- **Revenue Growth:** Spearhead initiatives to fuel revenue growth through direct sales, strategic partner programs, co-selling activities, and joint marketing efforts.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, product management, and customer success to ensure seamless execution of sales and partner strategies.
- **Market Expansion:** Leverage your network and industry alliances to identify and capitalize on new opportunities, particularly within the telecommunications and utility sectors.
- **Performance Excellence:** Set, track, and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure continuous improvement and outstanding results.
**What You Bring:**
- **Experience & Expertise:** A seasoned sales leader with 10+ years in building and scaling high-performing sales teams, particularly in Field Service Management, PLM, GIS, Geospatial, ERP, or EAM sectors. Telecom and utility industry connections is a must
- **Strategic Vision:** Proven track record in developing and executing successful sales strategies at a senior leadership level.
- **Leadership:** Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and drive a team to achieve extraordinary results.
- **Industry Knowledge:** Deep understanding of network solutions, including utility grid modernization, fiber, and 5G broadband.
- **Results-Driven:** A history of meeting and exceeding revenue targets in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required; MBA is highly preferred.
- **Willingness to Travel:** Ready to travel as necessary to meet business goals.
