Gaucho Regional Marketing Manager
Gaucho is delighted to be looking for a Regional Marketing Manager to join its industry leading London Marketing department. The candidate will act as the regional marketing lead and brand guardian for our eight restaurants outside London and will be the driving force behind successful marketing activations in these sites. The candidate will have a minimum of three years’ marketing experience and a familiarity with the hospitality landscape in cities outside London where Gaucho operates.
Working out of our London head office near Bank tube station with the propensity for regular travel to our regional restaurants, the candidate will report to the Head of Marketing. They will operate hand in glove with each restaurant’s General Managers, Business Development Managers and Operations teams, inspiring them through our group marketing strategy and focusing on delivering independent marketing objectives for each site.
The Regional Marketing Manager role will suit an engaged, experienced and best-in-class marketer who can create new and effective relationships for each restaurant and who will drive key results for the Gaucho brand. Gaucho has plans for steady growth and restaurant openings across the coming years. The successful candidate will be a core part of this development team and will be integral in developing the strategy to ensure maximum marketing engagement and success to deliver key metrics.
Rare Restaurants – the overarching brand for Gaucho and M – was this year named in the prestigious Sunday Times Top 100 Places to Work list and is embarking on a campaign to extend an experience of 100% Hospitality through its teams, guests and at every contact point with the brand.
Responsibilities
- Marketing lead and key contact for Gaucho’s regional restaurant portfolio
- Act as the brand guardian for restaurants within the regional restaurant patch
- Marketing lead on all activations and events within the regional restaurant patch
- Grow and maintain brand awareness in each city
- Ensure restaurant collateral is briefed in, prepared and delivered to deadline
- Work closely with GMs, operations team and Business Development Managers to deliver on all key objectives and KPIs for each restaurant
Key Role Outcomes
Working between our collection of restaurants across the UK, the candidate will report to the Head of Marketing, who is based in the London head office. They will operate hand in glove with each restaurant’s Business Development Managers, who are located in the respective restaurants, to drive the group marketing strategy and focus on delivering independent marketing objectives for each site. The candidate will be expected to split their time as required between the restaurants, travelling regularly and acting as the key marketing contact and link between the regional restaurants and the head office marketing team.
