A critical part of the client marketing role is always starting with a client first, client centric mindset. This means developing a deep understanding of the enterprises and buyers we serve within the wealth management channel, then building messaging and engagement plans that start and remain focused client concerns and benefits.

In partnership with the alternatives product marketing manager and the broader EMEA marketing team, this individual will share in responsibility for developing and executing all related alternatives marketing activities, including new product launches, content development, event strategy and sponsorship, client and market research, targeted lead generation email programs, thought leadership initiatives, and other forms of brand building promoted through social media and advertising.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of an overall alternatives promotional strategy
  • Establish and track alternatives marketing KPIs that measure the success of marketing campaigns and marketing activities
  • Develops and helps implement marketing campaigns and content based on client and market insights and understanding the firm-wide and regional objectives and positioning.
  • Creates, adapts and deploys global and regional content and campaigns for the local market in partnership with EMEA Marketing
  • Develop and maintain a library of email templates leveraged by sales.
  • Develops and conducts regional alternatives focused event plans, in collaboration with local and regional stakeholders and contributes to regional event projects where alternatives are incorporated.
  • Work closely with social media team to ensure consistent presence of alternatives content.
  • Meet with global alternatives client marketing colleagues to share insights and develop best practices.
  • Work with internal marketing teams, such as Creative Services, web team, digital marketing and external vendors on production and planning for alternatives marketing campaigns and collateral.
  • Lead the coordination of quarterly product webcasts and partner with internal teams on promotion of educational and thematic webcasts.
  • Engage in sales leads development while refining and improving the identification and sharing process.
  • Execute other projects and special marketing assignments, as necessary.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and industry rules, guidelines, and standards.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of the asset and wealth management ecosystem within EMEA, including key buyers and influencers.
  • 5+ years in product marketing and/or client marketing roles, preferably in asset management.
  • Fluent in English.
