Emeritus is seeking a Sr. Engagement Manager to join our Enterprise (B2B) team. This individual would work with the sales and solutions design team after the close of a contract, and with the client as the opportunity moves into delivery, as the main point of contact with the client as we build, implement, and deliver fantastic learning experiences.


The Sr. Engagement Manager should be comfortable advising on solution execution and implementation with senior client stakeholders, advising on educational best practices, and delivering impactful learning experiences. In practice, this means having consultative conversations with the client about their learning ecosystems and how we will fit in (using our systems or theirs); managing the logistics of implementing a learning solution (whether it’s off-the-shelf of completely custom program, or roll out of an education-as-a-benefit platform); building strategic communications and measurement strategies for the programs we run; and managing overall program deliveries end-to-end. The Sr. Engagement Manager must be a strategic thinker able to ideate on account expansion at an early-stage company, comfortable with building lasting client relationships, and identifying new opportunities with existing clients


While expertise in designing and delivering impactful learning programs, learning ecosystems, and andragogy is preferred, it is necessary for this individual to have experience in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders, working consultatively and creatively, and to have experience delivering services products - sometimes without a blueprint.



Key Responsibilities

  • Act as an individual contributor to help drive revenue for the enterprise team, by working with clients to address their educational needs throughout delivery:
  • Responsible for the design of the learner experience and planning the logistics of the solution that has been designed by the solutions consultant and/or SME Solutions Architects
  • Lead calls with senior client stakeholders related to the delivery of programs
  • Create and manage a project plan for the delivery of a program
  • Consult with our clients on their learning ecosystems and where our programs will integrate, then work with internal and external teams to implement these solutions
  • Consult on communications and measurement strategies that will be integrated in the delivery of the program; then build and roll out these out
  • Consult with clients on the roll-out of add-on enrichments for the program, such as networking opportunities, and community-building opportunities, speaker sessions, and other customizations; and ensure that these components are successfully delivered by partnering closely with the client’s internal project management teams
  • Work with instructional designers, solutions architects, and community manager to ensure best internal and external resources are bring brought onto the project for successful build and delivery of the solution
  • Work with the sales team and broader solutions team on continuously adding value to existing clients through value-adding account management activities, identifying upsell opportunities, and building lasting relationships


Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as an instructional designer or educational program manager, with a specific focus on delivery of educational programs; or helping organizations build and deliver customized learning programs that aim to transform their workforces aligned to specific business initiatives
  • Experience in learning ecosystems and platforms is preferred
  • Able to synthesize customers’ needs and respond with practical solutions
  • Able to balance multiple priorities simultaneously and deliver to deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Creative and comfortable with ambiguity
