Our colourful, vibrant Loughborough Head Office currently has a vacancy for a Brand Manager. The role will join our creative, amazing and generally super sweet team on a full time basis. Our Head Office roles come with hybrid working allowing you the ability to work 3 days in the office and up to 2 days at home (you will need to live within a commutable distance of Loughborough).

This is a lead role in shaping and driving the World of Sweets product and brand strategy; defining and developing category and channel strategies for our product ranges and delivering strong execution plans for our key product ranges.


What will our Brand Manager do?


Managing one colleague, you will:

  • Develop and own the product/brand strategies across the World of Sweets channels, driving a clear role for our different product ranges / brands (including recommendation of product range by channel strategy, with ranging strategy and principles)
  • Working with our Global Brand partners to manage and grow their brands across our Channels including Clif, Sneak, American, Anton Berg, Warheads,
  • Drive brand equity of our brands through exceptional market activation
  • Expert in category & consumer led insights to drive product development, with accountability for numbers by product category, providing growth assumptions for plans
  • Ensure we launch the right products with the right due diligence and review success
  • Working with the Assistant Category and Insights Manager, provide inspiring execution of product ranges, with excellent brand marketing execution
  • Working with Assistant Category and Insights Manager, Product Development and Buying, ensure effective product range management (including range rationalisation and identification of gaps within the range)
  • Nurture strong commercial relationships & influence key stakeholders within the World of Sweets Group through high levels of responsiveness, project delivery & product knowledge.
  • Working with product development, ensure clear and effective communication of all product/project details needed to launch a product in commercial


Who is the right person for this Brand Manager role?


The right person will have as many of the skills and attributes below as possible:

  • Experience in brand and/or product management within a commercially focused FMCG arena
  • The ability to manage end to product cycle
  • Managing brand partners
  • A CIM qualification or equivalent skills/experience within an FMCG background
  • The ability to innovate
  • The ability to effectively support the construction of and manage budgets and forecasts, focus on ROI for area of expertise.
  • Effectively line manage one direct report
