Responsibilities
This dynamic role offers a comprehensive overview of multiple areas within the company. Specifically, you will own the ALLSKIN | MED professional-only dermatological skincare range, developed and manufactured by Cantabria Labs, one of Europe's leading dermatological skincare and pharmaceutical companies. The ALLSKIN | MED range, featuring patented technologies and evidence-based formulations, is exclusively sold to and through professional skin clinics. You will also have equal oversight of the other ranges and support their development across targeted D2C and B2C consumer retail channels.
The successful candidate will be an essential marketing and company management team member, collaborating in a friendly and supportive environment. You will work closely with the broader marketing, digital and design team, the dedicated AESTHETICARE sales and training team, the HEALTH & BEAUTY commercial team, the operations group, our partner skin clinics and retailers, key opinion leaders (KOLs), external creative, social and PR agencies, and our colleagues at Cantabria Labs in Spain.
This role will report directly to the Senior Brand Manager.
Joining Ferndale Pharma as a Brand Manager is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least 2 years of marketing experience, a passion for the skincare industry, and a proven track record of success. This role offers the chance to showcase and develop your marketing skills in both B2B and D2C sectors, providing the freedom and support needed to excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand Strategy Support: Assist in developing and implementing brand strategies to enhance market presence and drive growth in the clinic sector.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, consumer insights, and competitive analysis to inform brand positioning and strategy.
- Campaign Management: Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including product launches, promotional activities, and brand partnerships.
- Content Creation: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop engaging content for various channels, including social media, email marketing, and the company website.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyse brand performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales, external agencies, KOLs and customer service teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging and execution across all touchpoints.
- Event Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of brand events, trade shows, and other promotional activities.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree, preferably in a subject related to marketing, business, or life science.
- 2 years of experience in brand management, marketing, or a related role.
- Experience working with and a passion for skin and skincare. While experience in the professional skincare sector is preferred, it is not essential.
- Proven and demonstrable success of brand marketing and campaign planning and their execution.
- Proven ability to understand professional, retail and consumer customer needs.
- Proven experience of planning and directing the production of engaging campaign content.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative mindset with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills and proven project management ability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with marketing software and tools
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
