International Brand Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing brand strategies, marketing plans, and product innovations to drive product growth internationally. You will have an expert team to partner with on the brand strategy but this role will ultimately be the brand lead for international markets.


This role requires the expertise of someone who has experience launching or managing a brands expansion within international markets as well as the ability to speak French and/or Italian.


Responsibilities:


  • Serve as the brand custodian outside the UK, ensuring the brand consistently reflects its values and beliefs in international markets.
  • Develop strong brand positioning based on consumer insights and clear brand aspirations.
  • Collaborate with external agencies to establish the brand as a global lifestyle entity.
  • Define, communicate, and ensure a shared understanding of the brand’s vision and mission.
  • Translate brand strategies into effective, practical, and ambitious go-to-market plans.
  • Establish performance benchmarks, including KPIs, to track and measure brand health over time.
  • Evaluate and report the performance of marketing campaigns based on ROI and KPI outcomes.
  • Continuously monitor competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge in delivering superior value to consumers.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to craft a cohesive brand plan and strategy tailored for international markets.
  • Develop and maintain a distinctive brand proposition, including visual identity and tone of voice, aligning with the brand ethos.
  • Maintain and update Brand Identity Guidelines, ensuring easy access and usability for employees and creative partners.
  • Serve as the internal Brand Champion, ensuring all teams, both within and outside the UK, understand and adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Oversee the work of external agencies in international markets, managing budgets to ensure cost-effective campaigns.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in communications, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience successfully implementing brands in international markets.
  • Fluency in English as well as Italian and/or French
  • Extensive experience in developing brand and marketing strategies.
  • Skilled in identifying target audiences and creating campaigns based on consumer insights.
  • Excellent communicator, able to create compelling brand stories.
  • Experience in executing marketing campaigns across multiple channels (agency and/or client side).
  • Up-to-date with digital marketing techniques and social media trends.
  • Highly creative with the ability to think outside the box.
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop is a plus.
