Role

We are looking for a Head of Sales, reporting into the GoMedia MD, to oversee all aspects of sales and business development for our core products, worldwide. This is a great opportunity to make your mark as a part of a small company within a much larger group.

You will become an integral part of the GoMedia management team working closely with the department heads particularly the Head of Account Management and General Manager.

The role will involve seeking out new clients and markets as well as working with the Sales teams of our parent company in all regions to bring GoMedia products to their existing clients.

A background in transport and/or technology is preferred and additional languages would be helpful.

Location

GoMedia staff work both remotely and in the office. We expect regular attendance at our London office 2-3 days per week.


This role will involve some travel within the UK and Europe as well as to the USA/Canada.


Requirements and/or Preferred knowledge:

  • A proven track record in a sales / business development role in a B2B environment
  • Experience working in the transport sector preferred
  • Understanding of software development processes
  • Experience in selling SaaS solutions beneficial
  • Must have a very hands-on approach, be independent and proactive
  • Strong negotiation skills, dealing with both clients and internal group sales teams
  • Strong attention to detail, and skilled at building business cases
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and relationship skills
  • Additional languages would be a bonus (Italian, French)
  • Strong presentation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the MD to meet or exceed all sales targets
  • Identify new contacts and leads within the transport sector
  • Work with the VP of Engineering to identify new products and develop a product roadmap
  • Identify new potential markets outside of transport and work with the CEO and Business Development Executive to prioritise focus and resources
  • Work with the Icomera Sales Teams to ensure they are part of the virtual GoMedia sales team.
  • Become the eyes and ears of GoMedia in the industry, identifying new services and growth areas.
