Projects related accountabilities:

• Work with key stakeholders from across the business to ensure detailed requirements capture occurs and is accurately documented

• Work with key stakeholders from across the business to ensure functional specs are created and fit for purpose and ensuring appropriate sign offs are gained

• Develop and maintain project RACI

• Develop, maintain and communicate project plan including scheduling, stakeholders, sign offs, key miletones

• Identify and manage project dependencies to minimise impact to overall project

• Identify potential risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies

• Continually review and replan as appropriate ensuring conflicts are raised and addressed accordingly

• Raise and discuss relevant issues at meetings, produce accurate notes and actions

• Sets and agrees deadlines with required stakeholders, monitoring progress against each

• Documents and understands what the technical and non-technical dependencies are for each project

• Act as first point of escalation for project stakeholders, assisting to unblock and resolve issues

• Able to foresee potential risks and issues, facilitate an appropriate discussion to ensure mitigation, escalating only when appropriate

• Produce accurate and effective project reporting

• Create and be responsible for the project communication plan to both internal and external stakeholders as appropriate

• Ensure that appropriate training is provided to end users

• Ensure project stage gates and Unify governance is adopted

• Is able to develop, articulate and lead the hypercare process

• Leads and facilitates lessons learned forums and drives completion of actions.

• Chairs any Go/No Go calls or any sign off calls to ensure a successful delivery

• Produces a quality PIR post project

• Actively participate in documenting and sharing best practice across the Unify Programme

• Provides management cover/support when necessary for peers in the Projects, Transition Management and solution teams.

Skills required for the job:

Proficient in critical/senior stakeholder management with hands on experience on stakeholder mapping & maintaining communication plans for multiple stakeholders in large scale complex projects with significant technical aspects.

• Proficient in assessing the project critical risks, maintain registers, prioritization of risks and developing plan based upon risk mitigation techniques in line with project demands.

Demonstrate confidence to ensure project critical issues are timely actioned/resolved, however unpalatable, are brought to the attention of senior management through the escalation process to save project from jeopardy.

Excellent verbal and written skills on English language.

• Interpersonal communication skills along influencing skills to build confidence with senior stakeholders and wider project squad.

• Positive attitude, handling multiple projects, collaboration with team members, self-motivation, time management, ability to deliver assigned projects within stringent timelines & pressure are key attributes to this role.

• Excellent skills to get aligned with organizational targets, adaptive towards organization changes, attention to details & practice self-reliance with awareness of when to seek support from line management.

Transition related skills required.

• Understands the essentials of service delivery and is able to articulate the role of GBS in meeting their business objectives.

• Has the confidence to ensure that the critical issues, however unpalatable, are brought to the attention of senior management through the escalation process

• Strong grasp of process optimisation, including the importance of standardisation and the role of technology enablement.

• Combines self-reliance with the awareness of when to seek support from line management.

• Works collaboratively in a matrixed environment.

Project management skills:

· Effective collaboration

· Strong problem solving and analytical skills

• Communicates concisely using appropriate methods

Able to develop and sustain co-operative working relationships across all BT functions, specifically at stakeholder level to maximize project delivery efficiency through effective use of all available resources.

• Ability to integrate information from multiple sources in order to anticipate issues

• Knowledge of Unify change management process, able to adopt through the correct techniques and impact assessment skills

• Demonstrated ability to use structured project management methods

• Project management certification

• Proven experience in project management methodologies

• Domain knowledge would be an advantage but not essential

• Experience on handling large migration projects where platforms are migrating or upgrading to new platforms will be an added advantage for this role.

Transition related accountabilities

• Provides transition related input to the development of solutions prior to sign off of the detailed business case for each client and signs off the transition resourcing and plan.

• Supports the development of a rigorous and comprehensive transition method, based on a holistic transformational approach incorporating process standardisation and convergence.

• Supports the continual development of Unify templates to facilitate adoption of the transition method - always adopting lessons learnt.

• supports the development of standards for all aspects of transition which vary according to the content of the work.

• Adopts the method and standards through undertaking training and self-paced training and acta

as a coach for other team members.

• Engages with Business Relationship Managers and costomer service managers to build a forward order book of committed work for the team

• Develops and agrees budgets for the execution of

transition projects

· Manages the deployment of recourses into project

· Leads the execution of transition projects personally or manages the executions of projects where the execution is delegated

· Ensures that the change management of their teams transition projects is given proper consideration .

· Reviews and QA deliverables produced during the transitions by their team’.
