We are looking for an enthusiastic Key Account Sales Handler who is already confident in a B2B sales environment and is ready to move into a Key Account role. Working closely with the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for a portfolio of existing core, key and specialist accounts alongside some new business development. The ideal person will have 2-3 year’s experience working for an importer or wholesaler supplying gift or housewares stores.


Responsibilities:

- Drive and develop relationships with key account buyers.

- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts to maximise sales.

- Day to day running of key accounts including processing set up and new line forms as required.

- Management of order book ensuring all orders are dispatched on time and with the necessary requirements.

- Liaising with Operations and Customer Services to ensure smooth and efficient management of accounts.

- Confidently presenting new products in line with new season launches and buying schedules.

- Maintaining company crm system with accurate and up to date information.

- Keeping in regular contact with all customers, scheduling calls and follow ups to ensure we are on top of all accounts.

- First point of contact for assigned leads, driving the relationship to convert into an account.

- Making use of company brochures and presentations to gain new business.

- Being aware of market trends and competitors.

- Attending trade shows with the sales team.

- Hitting or exceeding account and overall territory targets with a view to growing the company’s key account business.

- Working with the wider sales team to achieve company target.

- Contribute to internal meetings with relevant feedback e.g. product and marketing.

- Regular meetings with the Sales Manager to review KPIs and targets.



Skills and Abilities

- 2 years experience in B2B sales with a proven record of delivering sales to target.

- Good IT skills, confident user of excel and crm systems.

- Target Driven, self motivated person with can-do attitude.

- Strong planning and organisational skills with high attention to detail.

- Aware of market trends and competition.

  • - Confident speaker, highly proficient at presenting our products to buyers via Teams/Zoom.
