**About The Role**:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a caring, compassionate, and talented Service Leader. This is a great opening to make a real difference to the lives of others and gain great development.

You will become part of our team managing support workers to support people living in their own home in Newburn, Newcastle. We are looking for a dynamic and innovative Service Leader that will be able to provide a person-centred support. We are looking for a motivated individual who wants a rewarding role as part of a service that makes a difference. We require the service leader to adopt the practice leadership model to ensure staff are guided and supported in day-to-day practice and allows teams to take shared responsibility for the quality of support. It is essential that the training is reinforced through practical hands on supported and mentored in practical situations.

a skilled leader you will be responsible for the overall supervision, quality assurance, monitoring, regulatory requirements, and day to day management of staff. The responsibilities for this role are centred on the delivery, quality, financial stability, and the on-going development of the service.

**About You**:

- Effective communication, leadership and coaching skills are important as you will be responsible for communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
- You will also be committed to person centred planning and positive risk taking. It is essential you are a driver with a full license.
- It is also important that you share our company values which are at the heart of everything we do and ensure that we deliver high quality, consistent care and support.
- Supporting individuals with complex Learning Disability/Autism/Forensic backgrounds (experience and expertise in this area is essential)
- Understanding of ISF’s and delivering person centred outcomes.
- Confidence and competence working within a Multi-disciplinary team setting as it is essential to ensure a successful working relationship.
- MDT work includes engagement with Clinicians, Occupational Therapists, Police, Nurses, Psychiatrists, Positive behavioural support etc.
- Partnership working with the local authority, commissioners/CCG/joint commissioning.
- Have high levels of resilience and a drive to overcome challenges
- Be prepared to work with people who present with some levels of challenging behaviour
- Be committed to personal and professional development dependent on the needs of the service

- An enthusiastic, motivated, committed, experienced and skilled individual who prides themselves on providing support to drive forward the quality of life for people and their services.
- An analytical enquiring mind which supports the evaluation of critical factual judgements based on the regulatory statutory frameworks for services to drive forward quality life of life for people.
- Provide reflective in the reports/documents which have provided/devised and implemented. An overall focus on people achieving their best outcomes and from services people receive.
- An excellent leader with strong values and high standards which demonstrates good quality support to people.
- A highly demonstrated work history within non-profit organisation management industry, skilled in coaching, performance management through clearly defined pin-pointed behaviours, and leadership with strong communications skills.
