We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic & passionate
**Service Leader** who can communicate using
**BSL Level 2.**
**prior management experience** in supporting people with sensory support requirements.
The role is to lead an established, highly skilled team and support a young man in his own home, supporting him in developing his life skills, accessing a range of activities and volunteer work. It’s a great opportunity to work with an amazing young man and team of established staff.
The young person has a diagnosis of ASD, ADHD and Learning Disabilities. He is profoundly Deaf and communicates using BSL as his first language.
He loves to spend time on his sensory swing, swimming, light rooms, visiting his favourite shops and loves travelling out & about visiting the countryside and National Trust. He enjoys carrying out household tasks, watching work being carried out and spending time in his garden and out house.
You will take full responsibility for the effective daily operation of the service, you will work closely with your senior line manager and the staff team to support the effective management of the service.
You will support the young man in all areas of his life, enabling him to maximise his huge potential for independence within the home and community. You will help create a home environment that is happy, safe, empowering and stimulating.
