**Snr User Researcher (UX) - Remote/London**

My client, a National and Regional digital publications House is looking for a **Snr User Researcher (UX) **to join their growing team.The publishing house already reach an enormous audience, but they want to be much bigger, and do much better

They are aiming to change the way that their 100 plus million monthly online users experience their digital products, and revolutionise the world of online news in the process.

**What is the role?**

The Snr User Researcher will work on strategic research initiatives to reveal opportunities for disruptive product work. Uncover who their audiences are and what drives them, as well as running tactical research for the UX & Design, Product and Developmentteams as they build and evolve engaging products to meet the needs of those audiences.

This role requires study design, moderation and analysis skills, and the ability to collaborate with different disciplines to grow the potential for evidence based decision making.

**Who will you be working with**:

- The UX & Design team provides experience and design leadership within the organisation and promotes excellence across all digital product and innovation workstreams, and includes the practice areas of experience design, visual design, research & contentstrategy. Together, they support the publishing house extensive National & Regional News properties and innovation products.
- They share a common goal of creating user-centred and intelligently-connected experiences across their products. They deliver a high quality of product work and nurture and develop employee talent.
- Their researchers each have responsibility for a small number of product teams, to build relationships with their product and engineering colleagues, and ensure that research is at the heart of decision making.
- 3+ years professional user research experience.
- Strong track record of qualitative research leading to results impacting product/UX strategy and development.
- Worked closely with quantitative experts and knows how to blend this with qualitative research to synthesise actionable insights.
- Up-to-date toolkit of research methods and the experience and savvy to know when to be lean and scrappy and when to be rigorous.
- Ability to execute in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distil complex ideas to their essence.
