**Account Manager/Administrator**

Determine and monitor the overall resource capacity (personnel, material, and equipment) and set priorities to maintain production expectations and costs.

Develop long term & short-term plans for improving customer base and increasing work flow through account management.

Provide accurate estimates for projects ranging from £100 to £10k

The ability to interpret and read workshop/design drawings and direct the design of the relevant components to allow for accurate pricing quotations.

Use of 2D/3D CAD Packages to determine bill of materials for all projects and manage procurement process.

Form solid relationships with clients through face-to-face meetings to identify their precise requirements and ensure that pricing schedules allow for the delivery of projects that accurately meet their expectations.

Undertake site visits in order to understand the full scope of the works, assisting the commercial team in pricing from first principles. Ability to effectively communicate with customers on quality and service.

Carry out thorough financial negotiations as required in order to secure client contracts.

Strong communication and sales skills with the ability to motivate others. The ability to build a positive culture which promotes cooperation, accountability, openness, challenge and continual improvement.

Results oriented with the ability to drive change and continuous improvement, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and lead and manage others to achieve desired results.

Attend monthly performance meetings and complete reports for both the clients and the company including information on Project Performance (Site and Commercial), Health & Safety, Environmental and KPI's.

**Experience**

Previous experience of Telecommunications masts and metalwork, with a good understanding of high quality fabrication and welding processes is desired.

Working in an environment of complex metalwork, fabrication and welding of mild steel, aluminium, and stainless steel.

**Skills**

**ESSENTIAL**
- Previous experience in a manufacturing Admin role.
- Proven understanding of metal fabrication and processes.
- Demonstrable experience in project management.
- Experience of working under pressure in a close-knit team to deliver joint objectives.
- The ability to plan ahead, organise workload, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise on a daily basis with other team members, clients and suppliers.
- A positive can-do attitude to client and colleague, even when working under pressure.
- Demonstrable ability to work alone and use own initiative to solve problems and complete daily tasks.
- Ability to work flexibly in line with business requirements.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Possess strong IT skills, in particular MS Excel.
- Full driving licence.

**DESIRABLE**
- Experience in the Telecommunication sector.
- Experience of working with international clients.
- Auto Cad or similar Design software experience.

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour
