**Your New Job Title**: Mandarin Speaking Accountant - hybrid.

**The Skills You'll Need**: Fluent Mandarin and a degree in finance or accounting

**What You'll be Doing Each Day**:
Your new role will encompass a broad range of Financial Accounting, processing, reviewing and control responsibilities.

You will:

- operate the core system on a daily basis, including accounting entry input, inter-bank transactions and other operations as required;
- take ownership of expense, suspense account, cheque and cash management, complete and maintain financial statistics and collate information as required;
- take ownership of reconciling Nostro account, Vostro account and security custodian account;
- prepare daily management information report and monitor management and regulatory indicator and support the Department to collate information for external audit and taxation report;
- assist company fixed assets management and other projects as required by the Head of Department;
- make sure transaction records and/or data are filed in an accurate and timely manner;
- Post training, be able to complete regular reports to the Head Office and local regulatory authorities. Familiar with the local regulatory requirements, follow-up and analyse the impact of changes accordingly;
- Post training, be able to participate in budgeting, planning and forecasting processes, and work with other management team members in developing action plans to achieve financial and operational targets; and
- complete other duties required by Head of Department.

**The Skills You'll Need to Succeed**:

- Banking industry experience preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Minimum Bachelor degree in finance or accounting

**Job status**: Permanent

**Start date**: ASAP

**Working hours**: Hybrid. Mon-Fri office hours, 3 days in the office.
