**Your New Job Title**: Mandarin speaking Accounting and Tax Advisor

**Who you'll be working for**:
Our client is a Management Consulting company.

**Job Spec**:

- Excellent written and spoken English and Mandarin language skills
- Experience of accounting systems
- Detailed knowledge of current accounting standards
- Prepare statutory financial statements for UK entities to ensure compliance with all accounting standards
- Processing payments and international transfer in an accurate and timely manner
- Providing local banking and tax intelligence
- Providing financial control support and advice for projects and engagements
- Day to day project management and execution support on live transactions
- Preparation and reconciliation of the quarterly UK VAT return ensuring all returns are submitted on time and any discrepancies/anomalies are fully investigated and understood
- Support any reclaim process or Audits on Tax or VAT across all territories by liaising with departments across the business and gathering the relevant data
- Responsible for gathering data to support the annual Corporation Tax return
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations for all entities for all taxes
- Support preparation of any duty filings or reclaims in EU or for any other international territory

**Start date**: ASAP

**Working hours**: Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm (plus flexible working hours, Overtime when needed)
