**Summary**:
The Financial Accountant is responsible to support the Head of Finance with financial accounting, financial reporting, regulatory reporting and taxation for SPDB London Branch.
**What You'll be Doing Each Day**:
Internal expenses management and review;
- Internal accounts (Fixed assets, prepayment and accruals, receivables and payables, etc) management and review;
- Nostros accounts reconciliations;
- Monthly/Quarterly/Annual financial reports preparation;
- General ledger maintenance and review;
- Regulatory reporting to BOE, PRA and FCA on regular basis;
- taxation returns preparation, including VAT and Corporation Tax;
- Assist in Regulatory reporting to CBRC;
- Assist in Regular reports to Head Office relevant departments;
- Major systems implementation, testing and maintenance;
- Major system parameters maintenance and enhancement;
- System and project development;
- Liaising with internal/external audit;
- Assist in branch budget management;
- Assist in project and policy review;
- Ad hoc requirements/projects;
- The role may from time to time be required to undertake additional or other duties as necessary to meet the needs of the bank's business/operation.
