We are looking for someone who has the drive to develop as they will be involved in all aspects of HR and Office working.

**Role Overview**

You will be assisting the People & Culture department with all aspects of People to ensure we deliver a culture and office environment that represents Solent and our values. This is a varied role where you will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge in all areas of HR, Recruitment and Office management to effectively support the business.

This role would suit someone who is a great communicator, is able to build rapport easily and enjoys working with people. Previous experience within HR or Recruitment would be an advantage but not essential.

**Responsibilities Include**
- Recruitment - providing administrative support to the recruitment process, arranging interviews, and conducting telephone interviews.
- Assisting with the onboarding of new starters, from generating Contracts of Employment, organising equipment, and assisting with inductions
- Supporting HR and Recruitment to attract and retain talent
- Maintaining HR and Recruitment documentation, including new starter and leaver documentation, employee benefits, probations, work anniversaries, etc
- Attending meetings and taking minutes/notes
- Working with the Solent Social Committee with Social events including our annual summer and winter parties
- Culture initiatives - assist in coordinating Global Culture initiatives
- Assist with reception duties including answering the mainline phone, taking messages, filling up photocopiers, coordinating delivery and collection of parcels and meeting visitors where required.
- Administration and general tasks to support Solent Head Office function

**Skills Required**:

- Very personable, enjoys working with different personalities
- Previous HR experience an advantage
- Good computer skills with experience of using Work, Excel & Microsoft Outlook
- A passion for making people happy
- Strong attention to detail and a talent for organisation
- A professional and positive approach, understanding the importance of discretion and confidentiality
- A passion for self-development and business improvement
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure
- Great communicator and can easily build rapport
- Drive and lots of energy

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
