**Part-Time HR Officer (2-3 Days per Week) - hours to be agreed**

**Location**: Poole, with occasional travel to branches.

**About Us**:
We are an independent family run electrical wholesaler with 11 branches. With a team of around 50 dedicated employees, we pride ourselves on creating a supportive and dynamic work environment. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a **Part-Time HR Officer** to help manage HR activities across our business.

**The Role**:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive **Part-Time HR Officer** to join our team. You will play a crucial role in supporting our business by managing recruitment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and providing general HR support to our teams across multiple branches.

Although the role is primarily office-based, you will need to travel to branches from time to time, so a full, clean driving licence is essential.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Health and Safety**: Ensure health and safety procedures are adhered to across all branches, including conducting safety audits, training employees, and maintaining records.
- **Employee Administration**: Maintain employee records, assist with payroll administration, and support employee queries relating to HR policies and procedures.
- **Performance Support**: Assist with performance management, including organizing appraisals, employee development plans, and training opportunities.
- **Employee Relations**: Act as a point of contact for staff queries, ensuring a supportive and positive workplace culture.

**About You**:

- **Experience**: Proven experience in HR administration or a similar HR role. Experience in recruitment, health and safety, and general employee relations is a plus.
- **Organised and Proactive**: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- **Communication**: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.
- **Driving**: A full UK driving licence is essential, as occasional travel to branches is required.
- **HR Qualifications**: Ideally, you will have a **CIPD Level 3** or equivalent qualification.
