**The Venue**

The Swettenham Arms is currently closed for an extensive refurbishment, and is an iconic 16th century award winning pub, restaurant and wedding venue nestled in the stunning Cheshire countryside between Congleton and Holmes Chapel, and is well known throughout the surrounding counties for hosting Weddings and being one of Cheshire’s favourite gastro country inns.

It has the lovely Lovell suite which is one of the most charming in Cheshire, providing an idyllic setting for any function, beautifully enhanced by the lavender and sunflower meadow in the summer months and The Quinta Arboretum Wildlife and Nature Reserve. The perfect spot for a Cheshire wedding.

We are looking for a friendly and super organised person to oversee the events on the day, leading and working within a team, as you will be the point of contact for all events from the initial enquiry and throughout the customer journey ensuring a great customer experience

Ideally you will have experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry and have a real passion for great customer service. We are looking for someone who is a natural host, welcoming guests to our beautiful space with an eye for detail.

We run to timelines and follow a detailed events plan to ensure each day goes to plan, so accurate timekeeping and the ability to follow plans is essential.

We envisage this to be more of a customer facing, hands on role, but there will be at times be some requirements to assist with the Front of House team, and there will be on the job training to support this.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £27,500.00 per year
