The People team are dynamic, proactive, and passionate about making a difference for our people and our customers. The team partners the business providing forward looking generalist and specialist support across the Group.

RM requires an experienced People Business Partner to support our Corporate Services team, which has been undergoing a transformation impacting people, process and systems.

Reporting to the People Operations Director, the People Business Partner will work with Corporate Services management team, to support them through the business change, implement people initiatives, communication, and manager a range of ER / HR issues and cases.

This role would suit an experienced People Advisor looking to take their next step in their career.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the Chief People Officer and People Operations Director in the delivery of the RM People Strategy
- Working with the Senior People team, support the development and delivery of a comprehensive and commercially sound people plan which supports the delivery of the business strategy and objectives.
- Be responsible for a portfolio of varied ER / HR cases as well as provide day to day advice to the senior leadership and people managers within Corporate Services
- Use data to identify people management issues and requirements and put solutions into action.
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders and line managers and help empower them to become great people managers.
- Provide advice, guidance and coaching to managers on following best practice, processes, and procedures, such as recruitment, performance management and reward management.
- Collaborate with the wider People and Culture teams to support the development and implementation of modern and smart people solutions for the business that create an exceptional people experience.
- Work with the management teams to ensure they have the right talent in place at the right time to deliver their business objectives.
- Through the leadership team and people practices, help nurture and develop a working environment in which employees bring their authentic self to work through advocating, role modelling and holding the business to account to be inclusive, equitable and diverse.
- Support and coach managers to embrace change, articulate the positive outcomes for their teams, recognising contribution and performance through the celebration of success
- Actively champion and support the business change programmes and business change agenda, including taking a more proactive role in change communications.
- Proactively embed a commercial and performance-based culture which focuses on a growth mindset and rewards and recognises business performance and improvement.
- Encourage innovation and curiosity within the business to drive a continuous improvement mindset and adopting a fail-fast attitude to deliver brilliant people solutions and high-performance business operations
- Support the delivery of the annual calendar of People activities and work closely with People Operations to develop relevant and effective solutions for the business.

**Experience**:

- Strong experience of working in an HR advisory capacity and driving ER cases through to conclusion.
- Commercial acuity - ability to provide advice and guidance which mitigates risk and adds value to the business
- Implementing people strategies to drive improved business performance and commercial outcomes
- Experience of operating across different jurisdictions and understanding cultural sensitivities
- Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills including the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Played a leading role in business transformational change including organisational change and development
