We are delighted to be supporting a dynamic energy assessment company based in the heart of Bristol, with their search for a Business Development Executive.
The company is part of a group of successful and fast-growing businesses that employs c. 80 staff, most of whom operate between its central Bristol office and remotely. The business is passionate about designing and implementing energy efficient solutions tailoredfor its clients in both the public and private sectors to reduce energy usage and carbon emissions as well as helping the UK meet its Net Zero targets.

- Be tenacious & resilient in generating new business, having the skills to reach decision makers within target organisations (experience of business development is highly desirable)
- Be able to understand & explain technical & complex products, services and compliance requirements to a very high level of accuracy
**Role Overview**
The Business Development Executive (BDE) role is primarily to cultivate relationships with new and existing clients. The successful BDE will be responsible for engaging with key stakeholders at target organisations within the public & private sector, identifyingopportunities where the company's energy solutions & audits are relevant and sending service proposals. The BDE will then be expected to manage the proposal through close to delivery, closely liaising with the operations team to deliver on the solutions.
**Hours of Work**
Monday to Thursday 9.00 am to 5.30 pm (with 1 hour lunch break)
Friday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm (with 1 hour lunch break)
**Location**
The place of work will be the company's office in central Bristol.
**Role specifics**
**Lead generation**
- Utilising extensive & up to date database to generate new business leads
- Manage sales cycle activities through prospecting new clients to closing proposals
**Identifying opportunities**
- Identifying opportunities to upsell high value solutions & projects, to be delivered in conjunction with senior staff
- Use sales skills to maximise sales opportunities from existing client database
- Support wider business strategy by identifying new product & solutions lines
- Work closely with inhouse assessors to identify opportunities following site audits
**Client renewals**
- Speak to existing clients about upcoming renewals
- Strong communication with Renewals team to ensure KPIs for renewals are met
**Account Development**
- Develop and manage new & existing client relationships
- Ensure regular contact with key stakeholders
- Nurture relationships to support future opportunities to up-sell
**Regular & consistent stakeholder contact**
- Develop targets, cadence & relevant touch points to support relationship building and account development
**Project management**
- Opportunities to work with Operations team to deliver on won projects for your clients
**Salary**: £22,000 - £27,000 - OTE £45K+ - uncapped commission.
