Brook Street Recruitment is working with our Belfast client to recruit a full time and permanent NHS Payroll Administrator to join their expanding organisation.

Reporting to a Team Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects entry level Administration as outlined below. You will deliver managed payroll services to clients using the ESR in line with the service definition, ensuring that SLA's are delivered right first time. You will act as first point of contact for client staff, managing any issues that arise.

Duties

Data input
Checking reports to ensure accuracy of payroll information
Filing, paper and electronic
Receiving, organising and processing information
Answering telephones and contacting customers to handle basic client queries
Production of Management Information reports using both Excel and Word
Gathering and distributing mail
Assisting the Payroll Controllers on various duties
Compliance with the Data Protection Act and GDPR
Other general administration duties

Criteria

Previous experience of delivering excellent customer service, in an office based environment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
Ability to prioritise and remain calm under pressure
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Accuracy and attention to detail
Understand the need to follow established procedures
Ability to use own initiative within a team environment
Ability to use time effectively

Office Hours - Monday to Friday - Salary starts on £22,500
