Apprentice Office Administrator

A top company in St Helens are looking for an Apprentice Office Administrator to work for the family run Steel Stockholders and Processors. They have been 39 years in business providing efficient service to many sectors of industry, local builders, farmers and the general public.
Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm
**Main duties & Responsibilities**:
- Working in the accounts office to undertake invoicing using company Sage software
- Recording purchase invoices after checking they are correct and inputting onto our computerised day sheets complying with our ISO processes
- Using company excel stock control system, PPE & stationery monitoring
- Recording staff holidays
- Organising Health and safety warehouse checks and file
- Deal with Visitors at the reception
**Desired skills**:
- Good communication skills are required
- I.T skills including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Any previous office environment experience would be useful
**Desired Personal Qualities**:
- Able to work on own initiative
- Eager to learn new tasks
- Able to converse easily over with others
**Desired Qualifications**:
GCSE Level 4/Grade C & Above or equivalent in English & Maths is required
**Apprenticeship Qualification: Business Administrator Level 2**
**Future prospects**:The company are offering the opportunity to develop and diversify into other roles such as Senior Accounts Administrator, Health and Safety Officer/First Aider

**Salary**: £184.80-£364.70 per week
