We are a Haydock based plumbing and heating business and we're looking for an Office Administrator to support our Human Resources and Health & Safety department.

**What will you be doing as an Office Administrator**:

- Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the HR function
- Preparing offer letters, contracts and starter packs / HR files for new starters,
ensuring right to work documentation is received and recorded
- Forming and maintaining employee records
- Reviewing and renewing company policies and legal compliance
- Updating databases internally, such as holidays, sick, maternity, paternity leave etc.
- Assisting with payroll by providing the department with relevant employee
information, i.e. holiday and sick days taken
- Drafting and Sending out internal communication across the business
- Management of Apprenticeship Programme; interviews, monitoring, reviews and
communications with college.
- Keeping the training matrix up to date, booking any courses needed for new and
existing operatives, considering any certification expiry dates
- Assist the H&S department with all administration duties such as preparing the
Health & Safety folders for sites, annual policy and risk assessment revies
- Other ad hoc administration duties as required such as accident recording, PPE
allocation, fire safety, ordering office supplies etc.

**The successful Office Administrator will**:

- Ideally have experience in a similar position, or be a strong administrator with an
interest in HR
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Comfortable with Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to deal with confidential information
appropriately
- Great team player with a can-do approach to work

**Job Offer**:

- Hours of work: 30 hrs
- Monday to Friday - Flexible schedule
- Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
