**About the Role**

Are you a confident HR professional with a passion for supporting people in a fast-paced environment? Cross Rental Services are seeking a talented HR Advisor to join our HR team in Andover.

In this generalist role, you'll report directly to the HR Director and play a pivotal part in blending administrative efficiency with employee relations support. Based at our Andover HQ, you'll help drive a positive company culture while ensuring seamless HR operations across our multi-site organization.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage joiner, mover, and leaver processes, including contracts, references, IT setups, vehicle checks, uniforms, and tools.
- Handle monthly payroll activities ensuring overtime, bonuses, deductions, sick pay, and leaver calculations are correct.
- Administer benefits such as group life assurance, private medical insurance, and our corporate eyecare scheme.
- Monitor sickness absence, escalate issues, and support return-to-work processes.
- Conduct new starter orientations, exit interviews, and coordinate occupational health referrals for sickness cases.
- Provide advice on employee relations (ER), including investigations, disciplinaries, performance management, and compliance with employment legislation.
- Oversee training administration, monthly HR reporting, and ad-hoc projects to support business needs.
- Maintain HR databases, ensure data protection compliance, and uphold health, safety, and environmental standards.

**What We're Looking For**:
**Essential**:

- Proven experience in a generalist HR role within an SME, covering admin and advisory duties.
- Knowledge of payroll, benefits, absence management, and ER processes.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and multitasking skills with a focus on confidentiality and building trust.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, MS Office, and understanding of UK employment law.

**Desirable**:

- CIPD qualification or equivalent.
- Experience in multi-site or dynamic environments.
