The Crown Hotel is a 61 bedroomed, Country House Hotel approximately 3 miles outside Carlisle city centre. With a busy public bar and restaurant along with Weddings, banqueting and conference facilities.
We are looking for an Weddings and Events Coordinator to join the Sales Team to administer group bookings, events & banqueting bookings along with wedding show rounds.
**Job Role**
- Providing quotes in line with the companies pricing policy for events, weddings etc
- Showing prospective brides and grooms around the Hotel and function areas.
- Updating function information with any changes including final numbers, food requests etc.
- Completing Function Sheets for the operations team with all information and setups for conferences, weddings etc.
- Entering bookings into the Hotel's booking system.
- Liaising with the operation teams for all events including set up instructions and special requests.
- Liaise with outside suppliers for wedding bookings.
- Administration duties within the Sales Office.
**Requirements**:
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Have the confidence to deal with different types of customers especially in person.
- Friendly & professional manner.
- Be able to work some evenings and weekends if necessary for wedding show rounds.
- Be able to work alone and on own initiative if required.
Experience in a similar role within a faced paced Hotel environment would be preferred
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £24,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
