Notting Hill Genesis has a fantastic opportunity for a Cleaner/General Assistant to join our team providing communal cleaning duties at four of our supported Housing schemes based in Rochford, Essex, following on to Rayleigh, Essex and Southend-on-Sea, Essex

The General Assistant will be based at Norwich House for 10 hours per week, Cambridge Court, Southend-on-Sea for 10 hours per week - Carisbrook Lodge and Windsor Mews in Rayleigh.Essex for 5 hours per week - 1 day per week. 1 hour per week is paid for travel and millage is paid to travel between the sites, with specific working times to be agreed on successful appointment.

Role Responsibilities
In order to complete the duties across our schemes you will need a full UK Driving License and access to a vehicle (work related travel mileage will be expensed).

Notting Hill Genesis is a leading supported housing provider for older people, and we have recently undergone an ambitious change programme in our services. The aim of the new service is to ensure that our customers achieve their own goals and aspirations through the support and encouragement of our staff.

You will also work with the Supported Housing Assistant and could be asked to cover in the office in their absence. You will be on hand to support the residents as well as flagging safeguarding issues if they arise.

Ideally you will have experience of working in a Care and Support capacity and have experience of working in a customer service environment. You will have proven experience of routine cleaning and be able to manage and prioritise your workload. You must have a full driving license and access to a vehicle in order to travel to the two locations. The distance between the two schemes is 7.2miles. Work related travel mileage will be expensed.
