**Packing Operative**

**Salary**: £20,287.80 to £20,995.00 /year depending on qualifications and experience.

Permanent position

Location: Rochford, Essex

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm

Chatham Glyn Fabrics has a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Packing Operative, the role will be based in our warehouse in Rochford, Essex.

Key Responsibilities:

- The primary role will be to assist with the packing and despatch of our orders.
- You will have a key role checking that the goods being supplied are correct, packing the order to a high standard and despatch of orders to the correct address.
- Other tasks involve keeping the warehouse tidy, unloading of container deliveries and any adhoc duties working as part of our warehouse team.

Be aware that as the job can be physically demanding we will expect applicants to be generally fit as there will be lifting involved. Full training will be given in all aspects of the job.

While this is not necessary, any applicants who do have wrapping/packing experience are encouraged to apply.
