**Accounts Assistant - Part-time**

Based just outside Dereham, the business has a small friendly accounts team, and a reputation for offering their clients excellent accounting and taxation support & services.

An increase in workload has opened a gap for a keen Accounts Assistant, looking to build up their current practice experience in this well rounded role.

The work will involve multiple areas to allow sufficient work flow.

We seek an individual who has:

- good communication skills, happy to converse with clients and able to work in a team.
- Must have experience of working in an Accountancy Practice
- Ability to work solely with minimum supervision
- A personable, customer driven, people person
- Have a positive can-do attitude
- Have a passion to go the extra mile to support client queries
- Must be able to work to strict deadlines
- Experience of Sage, Xero, Quickbooks & Accounts & Tax Return Software
- Preparing year-end accounts and financial statements for companies, sole-traders & partnerships
- Personal and corporate tax return preparation & completion
- Prompt client contact and liaison providing a top-class service, going the extra mile

At busy times there would be some:

- Client bookkeeping and management accounts for a variety of businesses, using mainly Sage 50, Xero & Quickbooks
- VAT return preparation & transmission

Approx 25 - 27.5 hours per week, negotiable.

Office based position, within easy reach of A47. Plenty of parking.

Salary is negotiable and depending on experience. Start as soon as possible.

Salary £27k - £34k Pro rata

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £27,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
