We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Office Administrator to join our friendly team, based in our Abingdon office.

This is a full / part time role, reporting to the partners, providing office & legal administrative assistance across the firm. You will be required to be in the office while carrying out this role.

You will be responsible for the smooth and effective day to day administrative running of the office together with the office building, providing a safe and effective working space for employees and a welcoming environment for clients.

You will work closely with the Office Manager to assist in preparing for all regulatory processes and audits and work under their general direction.

You will oversee our IT infrastructure with the support of our external IT department and be the first point of contact for our existing suppliers. This will require management of user accounts and working with suppliers to solve issues as and when they arise.

You will also be responsible for basic account management, overseeing card payments and liaising with our accounts team to ensure prompt payment of invoices.

You must have a good knowledge and understanding of working with Word, Outlook and Excel together with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You must be able to handle a busy workload, confidently communicate on the telephone, perform well under pressure and work well as part of a team. Experience of liaising with outside suppliers and agencies is preferred but not essential. A keen interest in law is preferred but not essential.

Salary range depending on experience - £25,000 to £28,000

**Responsibilities**:
This is a description of the main duties and responsibilities of the post at the date of production. The duties may change over time as requirements and circumstances change. The person in the post may also have to carry out other duties as directed by the Partners or Office Manager.

**Main duties include**:

- Financial oversight of card payments taken in the office & general account management.
- Co-ordinating and organizing work experience placements and marketing events.
- Maintenance of subscriptions and liaising with suppliers to fix user issues.
- Oversight of office supplies and general maintenance.
- Day-to-day technology management.
- Liaising with our website designer to make adjustments and updates.
- Negotiation with suppliers & being the first port of call for existing accounts.
- Assist the Office Manager with the investigation of complaints.
- Management of Office Manual & take charge of updates as directed by the Office Manager.
- Maintain the firms Chambers UK & Legal 500 subscriptions.
- Experience of social media & content creation would be beneficial but not required.
- Legal administrative support for fee earners when required
