Job title: Contact Centre Agent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, hours between 07:00 - 18:00 with rotational Saturdays)
**Salary**: From £19,000 per annum
Location: 6 Geoff Monk Way, Birstall, Leicestershire, LE4 3BU
Job description
MAIN TASKS:
- Call handling, answering high volumes of calls, maintaining a rapid response to agreed standards.
- Job creation on the NWS System, accurately recording information, logging information on all calls received, maintaining detailed and accurate records.
- Manage “In life” customer queries including customer service calls.
- Operate a variety of office equipment, PC, Phone, shredder, scanner, photocopier.
- Job validation, policy checking, procurement of purchase order numbers.
- Communicate and liaise verbally and in writing between customers/suppliers/visitors/enquirers and relevant staff, and interpret and respond clearly and effectively to spoken requests over the phone or in person, and to verbal or written instructions.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, suppliers, customers, and the public.
- Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant health & safety procedures.
- Validate authenticity of vehicle and policy holder information.
- Invoice production.
- Awareness of data protection.
- Maintain work sheet list to ensure jobs older than 2 months are either cancelled or invoiced.
- Any other ad hoc duties as required or necessary.
OTHER DUTIES
Due to the size and complexity of the establishments within the nationwide windscreen network you will undertake any other reasonable tasks or duties that are deemed to be within your capability, as directed by a senior manager of the Group to whom you have a reporting relationship
