Click here to learn more, and here to read our CEO’s blog about trust and our culture. **Purpose of the Job**: We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented People Administrator to join our dynamic People team. You will play a crucial role in supporting our HR functions, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of day-to-day HR activities. You will maintain and build our employee end to end life-cycle processes, support our recruitment activities, and get involved in any adhoc HR related projects and initiatives. **Responsibilities**: - Managing the employee lifecycle and related administration, including: - maintaining and optimising the use of our HRIS (database), documents, and all employee records, and communications; - delivering and improving our pre-boarding, onboarding & offboarding experience; - managing the general HR inboxes for UK and US, acting as a point of contact for employee enquires and providing information on HR policies and procedures; - supporting benefit enrolment, renewal, administration, and promotion. - Supporting our recruitment activities, including: - posting job adverts, organising interviews, interview screening, and feedback; - ensuring background and reference checks are completed prior to new employees joining the business; - preparing and maintaining HR documentation, including offer letters, contracts and other HR related correspondence, ensuring signed copies are obtained and retained. - Assisting the People Advisor with monthly payroll administration and ensuring all deadlines are met; - Generating monthly and ad-hoc HR reports, and assisting in data analysis for HR metrics, using HRIS tools and MS Excel; - Providing general administrative support to the global People team, including scheduling meetings, maintaining HR files and contributing to adhoc projects and initiatives. **Skills, Experience, and Education Requirements**: - Proven experience in HR administration role; and / or - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources / CIPD level 3 certificate; - Basic understanding of UK employment law, HR processes, policies and best practice; - Outstanding organisation, time-keeping and prioritisation skills; - High attention to detail; - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team; - Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks; - Proficient in MS Office Suite and HRIS (Human Resources Information System - we use BambooHR). ***: **Behavioural Requirements**: - Commitment to and passion for the Oxitec mission and values; - Confidentiality and discretion; - The environment is fast-paced and ever changing, and requires someone who thrives on learning and change, and has a growth mind-set with a desire to stretch themselves, learn and grow; - Positive, humble, co-operative and professional always; - Work with a sense of urgency and solve things promptly; - Resilient and persistent in an innovative; - Role models professional behaviour at all times; - Integrity, demonstrated through consistency of actions and values; - A can-do attitude - "sleeves rolled up" ready to do what is necessary; - Results-driven and action-orientated; - An end-to-end operator, who sees something through to the end - a "completer-finisher"; - Display a demonstrated commitment to focusing on business needs and setting high standards to ensure quality work is maintained.
