We have an exciting opportunity to join our team of DayMakers as a **Part-Time Building Host** for one of our prestigious clients in **Manchester**, located in the heart of **Spinningfields**.
- **Position**: Part-Time Building Host / DayMaker
- **Working Hours**: Tuesday to Thursday, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM (15 hrs per week) Opportunity for overtime for holiday Cover

**What does being a DayMaker Host look like?**
- Take ownership of reception to create the best experience for staff and building occupiers.
- Greet visitors, staff, and clients warmly and professionally, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere at all times.
- Collaborate with the main receptionist and wider facilities team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Assist the main receptionist with events, from charity fundraisers to seasonal celebrations and company campaigns.
- Be a point of contact for guests and staff, ensuring security standards and guest registration are upheld.
- Manage the reception area while supporting FM administrative tasks and event planning during quieter periods.
- Organise and host fun, interactive events for employees and guests, creating memorable experiences.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and presentation at all times.
- Be adaptable and ready to step into any role, from host to entertainer, while maintaining a personable service.
- Ensure a smooth handover to colleagues when necessary.

- Whether you’ve worked as a host before or come from a background in high-end retail, hospitality, the performing arts, or creative industries, we want to hear from you Your unique personality is what makes you a great DayMaker.
- Outstanding communication skills are key - you must have the ability to connect with people and bring positive energy to the workplace.
- Previous customer service experience is a plus, but your enthusiasm and dedication to creating a positive environment are just as important.
- Experience using outlook
- Experience of events in a corporate setting (not essential but preferred)
- Teamwork is essential, we believe in collaboration, so being a true team player is a must.
- Comfortable with using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and video platforms like Zoom or MS Teams.
