The main objective of the Host will be greeting all customers upon arrival, managing all bookings and ensuring the customer has a positive experience as soon as they enter the premises. It is important that this role be met with a passion for excellent service, and you must exceed customers’ needs and expectations.

**Key Objectives and Responsibilities**
- The main responsibilities of the Host are to Manage bookings, either in person, over the phone or online.
- In this role you must deliver customer satisfaction by maintaining an exceptional standard of service and professionalism, welcoming customers to the venue to ensure a positive and friendly guest experience for all.
- Provide waiting times to customers who are not pre-booked.
- Provide personalised service and assistance for large parties of guests and VIPs.
- Due to being face-to-face with customers, the host must set high standards of personal presentation and behaviour at all times.
- A positive attitude must be adopted towards teamwork, contributing to the smooth running of the premises, and interacting productively with other departments.
- This role is also about passing on knowledge and you must be prepared to work with and set an excellent example for new and existing staff members. This is all part of our commitment to developing our teams within the company.

**Operational Duties**
- Meet, greet, and seat customers on arrival.
- Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
- Ensuring that the bar, tables, chairs, and work area to cleaned to maintain a sanitary environment.
- Have knowledge of all food and beverage menus.
- It is imperative that the host complies with UK law, checking identification of customers to verify they are of legal drinking age where applicable. This also includes limiting customer problems by restricting alcohol intake and attempting to curtail inappropriate behaviour.

**Job requirements**
- Flexible - This role requires flexibility in terms of working patterns and shifts, we are open 7 days a week and expect the Host to embrace a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends.
